My Personal Spare Time Interests and Activities. My hobbies are paid by me and no-one else.
How much time and money I spend on IT depends on need, availability and money.
My own personal computer, robots, cellular phone, mobile broadband and router
I want to buy all my private personal technology and SW myself, home user versions.
I'm usually in the forefront with my own phones, computers, SW and technology, the home user versions.
My personal computer and phone are for personal use only and are not used for work. Ï separate work and my personal life.
An employer has no influence on my home office, my home, my clothes, what I eat or my spare time activities. I prefer to work in an office building and only occasionally work from home when I have a job.
Computers, cellular & household technology and technical services & web hotels
I want my own personal email adress.
I want to own my own personal computer, cellular phone and SW required. They will not be used in any employment.
My devices will need technology, service and web hotels for home users.
I use all necessary services on the Internet for ordinary people, non-tax funded and tax funded services. I use the services in my spare time to solve my personal matters.
Equipment and SW provided by an employer for work duties will not be used for personal matters. They will be returned on the employment end date, an employment can be terminated at any time by anyone. I have no need for any employer devices/SW after I leave a job.
Computer SW and Android SW for home users
Since I own all my private personoal technology myself, I and the devices will need SW and HW.
I need SW for art, writing and everything else.
I'm usually in the forefront with my own phones, computers, SW and technology.
Hobby education on my sparetime
In my areas of interests: Software development and art.
In IT: tech is my private personal interest and SW development my professional interest.
I have not done everything in tech/dev/art and new skills to master pop up all the time.
I still have an interest in new products, textiles and materials on the market, but I will not contribute to any new innovations.
I have no need to develop SW for any of my hobbies.
SW development
SW development is my profession and not my hobby. I have no need to develop hobby SW for any of my hobbies. I develop SW on a professional level as an employee.
I don't need SW development skills for my website.
If I would like to generate my website with available SW, I would need user skills of the chosen publishing SW.
If I didn't want to create my own icons/images for my website, I would need user skills of publishing SW with ready-made icons and images.
Ready-made generated content is always based on someone else's aesthetics.
I usually test an idea using publishing SW and ready-made icons/images. If the result is in my favor, I will tweakt it my way later. A fast track forward and aesthetics don't matter - it can be fixed later.
You have to make a decision when creating a website. What is important? the content / what content / appearance / time / money / availability of tech & SW solutions. You can't do everything immediately and it has to be a growing process with you in charge.
I'm in charge of content and the aesthetics of my website, there is an art twist in everything.
I have never been in charge of the content and the aesthetics of any UX/UI on any job as a developer. I never approved any of the UIs aesthetics, but they weren't my systems and how they should look is up to the owners.
There are websites that I do not approve from a development perspective, hobby sites and commercial ones.
IT & tech
IT & tech are necessary interests and a hobby.
I need technical skills for my website and the skills are valuable as a SW developer.
A website has to be published to a web hotel and that will need IT-SW.
If you put a website out there, people will have opinions and if you can't cope with it - take the site down.
If others can't cope with your site, there's no reason to shut it down.
There are websites that I do not approve from a tech perspective, hobby sites and commercial ones - they are not mine and I will not change them.
I left dumb phones, dumb TV, dumb networks, dumb music and dumb entrance door solutions behind over 20 years ago. There are people who have problems with non-dumb solutions.
I've let go of anyone who has problems with technology in my apartment and I'm going to stick with and embrace more non-dumb solutions in IT. I've always been among the first in new technology and that won't change. There will always be people who don't understand what I'm doing. If something can be made easier and better with new tech, I'm all for it.
Today, my technological waste is much lower due to more efficient use of IT.
My own hobby website is my free time activity to test new ideas in IT.
The information I choose to put out there is not ment to be easily digestible and all unnecessary details have been removed. If you are interested in any details about me and my life you have to work hard to get it right and I believe it's a better investment of time and effort for everyone to focus on their own lives.
